Description

Delicious cookies with a sweet maple flavor and creamy white chocolate drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Maple Extract
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Melted Butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Melting Wafers
  • Holly Berry Sprinkles (Optional festive decoration)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, and maple extract until smooth. Stir in one egg until combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, ground cinnamon, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients to form a dough.
  3. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, to help cookies maintain their thickness.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  5. Scoop chilled dough into 1-inch balls, spacing them 2 inches apart on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until edges are set and centers remain slightly puffy.
  7. Let cookies rest on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
  8. Melt white chocolate wafers in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  9. Dip half of each cooled cookie into melted chocolate, place on parchment paper, and drizzle remaining chocolate over cookies.
  10. Allow chocolate to set completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Chilling the dough helps achieve thicker cookies.
  • Feel free to add nuts or other festive decorations.
