Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 medium ripe banana
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (optional)
- Ice cubes (as needed)
Instructions
- Add the spinach leaves and almond milk to a blender. Blend on high until the spinach is completely broken down.
- Add the banana, avocado, frozen pineapple chunks, chia seeds, lemon juice, and ground ginger to the blender.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.
- Add ice cubes and blend again until you reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately for best taste and texture.
Notes
- For a thicker smoothie, reduce the amount of almond milk.
- You can substitute the almond milk with any non-dairy milk of your choice.
- It’s best to consume the smoothie right after making for optimal taste and texture.
