Description

Ingredients

  • 1 package (15 count) mini phyllo pastry shells, thawed
  • 8 oz Brie cheese, rind removed, cut into 15 small cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, coarsely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted (optional, for brushing phyllo)
  • Pinch of salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange the phyllo pastry shells on a baking sheet.
  3. In a bowl, combine the cranberries, honey, thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place a cube of Brie in each phyllo shell and top with the cranberry mixture.
  5. If desired, brush the tops of the phyllo shells with melted butter.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the pastry is golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (if using) before serving.
