Description

Delicious steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in a garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or rosemary, chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Choose a tender steak cut like sirloin or ribeye and cut into bite-sized cubes. Let rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  2. Pat the steak cubes dry, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and black pepper.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until very hot. Sear steak in batches, 2–3 minutes per side, and set aside.
  4. Reduce heat to medium. Add butter to the skillet, followed by minced garlic and sliced onions. Sauté 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  5. Add fresh herbs if using. Return steak to the pan and toss to coat with garlic butter sauce.
  6. Cook 1–2 more minutes to heat through, then garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes. Serve immediately.
