- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Line it with parchment paper if desired.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
- In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve as-is, or with your favorite spread like maple butter or cream cheese.
