Description

This delicious pumpkin bread is perfect for the fall season, combining warm spices and the rich flavor of pumpkin.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan. Line it with parchment paper if desired.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
