Description

A simple and delicious tomato sauce recipe made with fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (no added sugar)
  • 1/2 tablespoon allulose (or monk fruit sweetener)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon Italian mixed herbs

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, add your oil and minced garlic and place it over medium heat. Let the garlic fry for 2-3 minutes, until fragrant.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the pan and cover. Allow the sauce to simmer for 12-13 minutes.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and allow the sauce to cool completely before using.

  • This sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of allulose or monk fruit sweetener according to taste.
