Description

Delicious sprinkle cookies perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 1½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 cups sprinkles or jimmies (do not use nonpareils)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Line 1-2 large cookie sheets with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper, set aside.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the remaining dry ingredients, set aside.
  3. Using a mixer, cream the butter and sugar together for 1-3 minutes.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  5. Add the dry ingredients to cookie batter and beat on medium-low speed just until the flour is almost combined.
  6. Add the sprinkles and increase the speed on the mixer and beat until the dough comes together.
  7. Use a large cookie scoop to portion the dough. Place on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake at 350° F for 12 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 2 minutes before you transfer to a wire rack.
