Description

This creamy chicken dish is packed with flavor and perfect for a hearty meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 red bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and cumin.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken on both sides until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, add butter, then onions and bell peppers. Sauté until soft and slightly caramelized.
  4. Stir in minced garlic and optional chili flakes. Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Reduce heat to low, pour in the cream, and stir to deglaze the pan and combine everything. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  6. Return chicken to the pan, cover, and simmer on low for 10–15 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  8. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.

  • This dish pairs well with rice or pasta.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice level by adding more or less chili flakes.
