Description

Ingredients

  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup bell peppers, chopped (red or yellow)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onions and garlic until golden.
  3. Add ground beef; cook until browned, draining excess fat if necessary.
  4. Stir in bell peppers, marinara sauce, and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in cooked tortellini until well coated.
  6. Transfer to the baking dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
