Description

A delicious layered pizza bake loaded with ground beef, cheese, and toppings.


Ingredients

  • lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 8 slices cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella (top)
  • 1½ cups pizza sauce
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • ½ cup cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 large pizza dough (store-bought or homemade, ~16 oz / 450 g)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Olive oil spray or brush

Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with seasonings; drain excess fat.
  2. Press pizza dough into a deep round pan, forming a base.
  3. Layer beef → cheddar → mozzarella → sauce → pepperoni; repeat layers.
  4. Finish with shredded mozzarella, onions, tomatoes, Parmesan, and oregano.
  5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Rest 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add sliced jalapeños between the layers.
  • Let the assembled dish sit for a few minutes before slicing to hold its shape better.
