Description
A delicious cheese-filled tortellini dish with lean ground beef, marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella.

- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
- 12 oz cheese-filled tortellini
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add minced garlic and lean ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned.
- Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, cook tortellini according to package instructions; drain.
- Combine the cooked tortellini with the beef mixture in the skillet.
- Top with shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese, cover, and cook until cheese is melted.
Notes
- For extra flavor, consider adding red pepper flakes!
- Serve with a side of garlic bread.
